About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to develop system software according to design and architecture specifications
- Deliver converged appliance platform to enable VCF to converge onto a single appliance model
- Design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF and related areas
- Utilize test-driven development to deliver high quality code
- Improve and maintain CI pipelines for your components
- Code reviews and enforce coding guidelines
- Measure, analyze and tune performance and scalability
- Develop flexible, reusable code that can be shared across several operating systems/hypervisors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience
- Post-graduate degree is typically expected or Masters degree and 10+ years of related experience or PhD and 7+ years of related experience
- Systems level programming in Java, GoLang, Python
- Full stack development that includes REST APIs
- Participate in all aspects of Service Ownership
- Monitoring, alert-automation, triaging, fixing issues to improve SLOs
