Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with architects and technical leads to develop system software according to design and architecture specifications
Deliver converged appliance platform to enable VCF to converge onto a single appliance model
Design and implement enhancements and new capabilities in VCF and related areas
Utilize test-driven development to deliver high quality code
Improve and maintain CI pipelines for your components
Code reviews and enforce coding guidelines
Measure, analyze and tune performance and scalability
Develop flexible, reusable code that can be shared across several operating systems/hypervisors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors and 12+ years of related experience
Post-graduate degree is typically expected or Masters degree and 10+ years of related experience or PhD and 7+ years of related experience
Systems level programming in Java, GoLang, Python
Full stack development that includes REST APIs
Participate in all aspects of Service Ownership
Monitoring, alert-automation, triaging, fixing issues to improve SLOs
