Key responsibilities & impact

Research and develop innovative new solutions that will help to shape the future direction of Broadcom
Work within a scrum team in an agile development environment, with an opportunity to gain exposure to many of the key agile roles
Maintain and design code running on mainframe products that meet functional and business requirements
Participate in code reviews
Participate in test plan reviews and develop automated test scripts to deliver high quality software solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Prior experience as a mainframe software developer
Expertise in the following: IBM Assembler on z/OS, z/OS Language Environment (LE)
Experience with ASM, Python language
Expertise with unit testing frameworks
Experience working in mainframe environments - zOS, TSO, JCL
Experience with mainframe programming languages - Assembler, C, C++, Metal cL, COBOL, REXX
