About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform value alignment with strategic customers
  • Build relationships across customers’ or partners’ IT and business silos
  • Understand, build, document and share knowledge of portfolio management, agile transformation, challenges and potential impact of planned projects
  • Act as a valued resource early in the customer decision-making process
  • Identify and lead adoption activities with key customers
  • Maintain account opportunity, engagement and adoption information
  • Manage and direct team members within assigned accounts
  • Maintain understanding of Agile Operations Division capabilities and products across the portfolio
  • Maintain functional and technical understanding of the ValueOps domain
  • Maintain understanding of third-party solutions and tools related to the domain
  • Perform demos and proof of value for PPM and Agile solutions
  • Present solution and adoption roadmaps to customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Services and Management on solution technology, architecture and roadmap alignment
  • Collaborate with other domain members in the territory on account understanding and learning
  • Collaborate in defining and executing account marketing activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree and 17+ years of related experience; or Master's degree and 15+ years of related experience
  • Strong background with Project & Portfolio Management, FinOps, Infrastructure Portfolio Management, and Agile management solutions such as Clarity, Planview, Jira, ServiceNow, Apptio and others
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks, such as SAFe
  • Ability to understand customer business problems and clearly formulate and articulate software solutions
  • Ability to interact with business users to discuss and document business requirements and translate them into a working application
  • Broad understanding of business and IT management
  • Strong presentation skills, including software demonstration skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to understand customers’ “why”
  • Skills necessary to shift customer from relationship to partnership
