About the role

  • Role manages all SAP and related infrastructure to ensure systems run and perform aligned to Finance goals
  • Team supports finance business processes: accounts payable, procurement, accounts receivable, fixed assets, books and records, budgeting & forecasting
  • Core ERP: SAP S/4 Hana on-premise version 2023 hosted on AWS; complementary software includes Vertex, OpenText, Blackline, Concur
  • SAP landscape includes Fiori, Windows GUI, Web GUI, NWBC, Mobile through OKTA, Embedded GRC, Embedded BPC, Embedded BW & Analytics, OpenText, Analysis for Office, Business Objects, Solution Manager, Process Orchestration
  • Responsibilities: ensure SLA performance, monitor critical periods (month/quarter/year end, budget season), manage basis support team and third-party MSPs, coordinate maintenance downtimes, perform DR tests
  • Manage cutover plans, resources and tasks for maintenance and upgrades; develop detailed project plans and provide status updates
  • Collaborate with application teams, cloud engineering, information security, architects, devOps and managed services partners
  • Lead and manage annual SAP application upgrades and support basis administration tasks as needed

Requirements

  • SAP Basis S/4 HANA Upgrade and Migration, SAP HANA DB Security, SAP Basis Administration for Business Suite, NetWeaver and S/4 components, SAP on SQL Server, SAP Application Security, SAP on ASE Database (Adaptive Server Enterprise), SAP on Oracle Database
  • Proven hands on experience of at least 7 years in SAP Basis administration, preferably in SAP S/4 Hana
  • Experience in various tools like Process Orchestration, Solution Manager, CHARM, Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, SAC, SAP Data Sphere, Convergent Mediation, Convergent Charging, Opentext Archive server, IES
  • Experience in implementing single sign on solutions, mutual authentication for web services, secure certificate management
  • Experience in AWS Infrastructure architecture and management - compute, storage, File systems, VPC, security groups, firewalls and other networking aspects of cloud engineering
  • 3+ years experience of project management in the infrastructure and SAP implementation projects
  • Experience in managing teams of 3+ members
  • Experience in managing third party managed services providers and partners
  • Experience in managing SAP system landscape upgrades and other associated components under tight deadlines with constraints on limited windows available for go live
  • Experience in cost optimization and management of AWS infrastructure
  • Excellent organizational, stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Resourceful with ability to research and recommend solutions
  • Strong desire to learn and develop new skills
