About the role
- Act as the primary onsite point of contact for the customer on all Quality Engineering activities.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, product owners, and delivery managers.
- Understand business priorities, project timelines, and proactively manage expectations.
- Provide regular updates on project health, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate daily with the offshore team to ensure smooth communication, workload distribution, and timely delivery.
- Mentor and guide offshore QA engineers on process adherence, automation practices, and defect management.
- Drive end-to-end quality strategy across manual, automation, and performance testing streams.
- Review test strategy, automation frameworks, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / QA Delivery, including 2+ years in a client-facing onsite role.
- Strong background in automation testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools).
- Hands-on experience in API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud testing environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor distributed teams.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, working closely with product and development teams.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, or AWS QA-related credentials are a plus.
