About the role
- Collaborate with clients to evaluate and improve financial processes within supply chain and manufacturing environments using ERP solutions.
- Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives focused on finance and accounting functions.
- Translate business and financial requirements into ERP system configurations and process improvements.
- Provide expertise in job costing, manufacturing accounting, and product costing.
- Ensure alignment of ERP solutions with financial reporting requirements, compliance standards, and internal controls.
- Analyze financial workflows and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
- Perform requirements gathering, solution design, system testing, and user adoption activities.
- Deliver clear documentation, training, and guidance to ensure successful system utilization.
- Participate in client meetings and consulting engagements, both virtual and onsite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience working in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly financial modules, in supply chain or manufacturing settings.
- Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Job Costing, Manufacturing Accounting, Product Costing.
- Strong understanding of financial processes within a supply chain environment.
- Solid understanding of ERP system concepts, structure, and data flows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a consulting/professional services environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship (no sponsorship available).
