About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications covering application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into reference architectures and target-state designs.
  • Lead architecture review boards, evaluating proposed designs against enterprise standards, security policies, and long-term roadmap considerations.
  • Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, leveraging API gateways, event streaming, and managed integration platforms.
  • Establish architecture principles, technology selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for use across multiple delivery teams.
  • Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls into solution designs from the outset.
  • Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including context diagrams, component models, sequence diagrams, and decision records.
  • Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives with a focus on cost, performance, and resilience.
  • Support proof-of-concept development to validate critical architectural choices before broader adoption.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution delivery.
  • Track emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments that align with business priorities.
  • Drive standardization across application portfolios to reduce technical debt and operational complexity.
  • Engage with vendors and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fit and negotiate technical commitments.
  • Ensure that solutions meet regulatory, audit, and data governance requirements applicable to the business.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
  • Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures.
  • Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday.
  • Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
  • Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams.
  • Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs.
