About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, web services, and middleware platforms
- Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX with Windchill, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mapping
- Develop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systems
- Build REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, Info*Engine, or custom Java services
- Implement message-based and event-driven integrations using middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, SAP CPI)
- Design and operate robust error-handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns
- Profile and optimize performance of high-volume integrations
- Lead migration efforts to retire legacy point-to-point integrations
- Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD functional teams
- Develop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks
- Provide hands-on post-go-live and hypercare support
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill
- Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API
- Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle)
- Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
