About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare, review, and approve bankruptcy pleadings.
- Manage bankruptcy cases including Proofs of Claim, Motions for Relief, Objections, Responses, Payment Change Notices, Settlements, and Adversary Proceedings.
- Participate in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, and in-person hearings.
- Provide regular case updates and maintain strong client communication.
- Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist with special legal projects as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Licensed and in good standing with the Kentucky State Bar
- 2–5 years of bankruptcy law experience
- Strong case management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage high-volume caseloads and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to excellent client service
