About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal counsel and support on commercial and operational contracts.
- Collaborate with clients in the medical devices and diagnostics sectors to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage multiple legal matters simultaneously while providing strategic guidance and risk assessment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate contract negotiations and compliance frameworks.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10+ years of corporate legal practice, including experience as an in-house attorney, serving as a General Counsel and/or in another senior in-house legal role and 3+ years of law firm training
- Substantive legal experience as a broad corporate generalist
- Demonstrated success as a practical, business-focused, and responsive legal partner
- J.D. from a nationally accredited law school
- State bar membership in state where reside/practice
- Significant in-house legal experience at a medical device, diagnostics, or IVD company, particularly where regulatory or quality requirements shape commercial agreements and operational workflows.
- Strong background in commercial and operational contracting.
- Experience supporting product, manufacturing, and supply chain functions.
- Ability to manage a high volume of matters while maintaining strong risk judgment.
- Exposure to global distribution and cross-border commercial models.
- Experience building or supporting operational processes and contract-driven compliance frameworks.
