About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own integration projects from initial discovery through successful production rollout from a technical perspective.
- Analyze partner requirements and recommend appropriate integration approaches based on business and technical needs.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product, QA, and support teams and external technology partners.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Coordinate and lead technical meetings, track progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Review API documentation and assist partners with technical onboarding and implementation planning.
- Validate integration requirements, data mappings, business rules, and end-to-end workflows.
- Troubleshoot integration issues by analyzing API requests, responses, logs, and system behavior.
- Coordinate integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, testing procedures, and integration specifications.
- Plan and execute integration updates, enhancements, API version upgrades, and customer migration activities.
- Monitor integration health and identify opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Improve integration processes, standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Assist with prioritization, planning, and resource coordination for ongoing integration initiatives.
- Work with development leadership to align integrations with product strategy and technical architecture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-motivated, organized, technically proficient, and able to work effectively within a distributed team.
- 3–5 years of experience leading and managing software integrations, technical implementations, or enterprise SaaS projects.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based SaaS applications, software integration architectures, REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and webhooks.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, API Keys, and JWT authentication.
- Hands-on experience with Postman or equivalent API testing and debugging tools.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects involving software developers, QA, technical support, product management, and external technology partners.
- Excellent project management, organizational, communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, implementation guides, testing plans, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and Jira or similar project management systems.
- Must live in the Greater Toronto area.
