About the role

  • Technical responsibility for all deployed IT security tools
  • Focus on the operation and further development of DDoS protection (Myra), certificate management (DigiCert & Sectigo), and secret management (HashiCorp)
  • Ensuring 24/7 operations as part of an on-call rota
  • Management and coordination of external IT service providers for security tools

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Cybersecurity or a comparable program with a focus on IT security or IT operations
  • Alternatively, vocational training as a system administrator followed by further training in Security Engineering or IT security
  • Several years of experience operating and enhancing IT security tools (ideally with Myra, DigiCert/Sectigo and/or HashiCorp)
  • Preferably experience in cloud environments (particularly AWS) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and tools such as GitLab
  • Collaborative work with external stakeholders on the continuous development of security solutions — implement complex requirements independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
