About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Driver for data-driven decision making in production and operations
Development of a modern performance controlling system across the entire value chain
Analysis of cost, material and margin drivers and derivation of concrete measures to improve results
Increasing transparency of product, project and customer profitability
Identification of efficiency potentials and active support of Operational Excellence and transformation initiatives
Sparring partner for plant management, operations and international management
Ownership for the further development of SAP FI/CO processes and the controlling landscape
Ensuring a reliable data foundation as the basis for business decisions
Close collaboration with the Group CFO on strategic and operational matters
Direct reporting to the Group CFO
Financial management of international production and operations areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in production, plant or operations controlling at an industrial company
Solid knowledge of SAP FI/CO
Strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to translate numbers into decisions
Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for actively improving processes
Strong communication skills and experience in international, cross-functional teams
Very good written and spoken German and English
