About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide UNIX/Linux systems administration support, including server maintenance, capacity planning, system monitoring, user account administration, backup and recovery support, hardware/software inventory management, and troubleshooting
- Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of servers, operating systems, applications, file systems, peripherals, and related infrastructure
- Implement standard operating procedures, test software fixes and patches, and support technology refresh activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience providing UNIX/Linux systems administration support in an enterprise IT environment
- Experience supporting federal government, scientific, geospatial, or mission-critical IT environments is preferred.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Must be U.S. citizens
