About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Handle a wide variety of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property disputes
Represent clients in transactional matters including forming and maintaining entities, drafting employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements
Mentor and provide professional development guidance to junior associates
Manage a diverse caseload independently

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience handling business litigation matters from inception to conclusion involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property (copyright and trademark) disputes
Proficient in drafting corporate formation documents, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements; experience in estate planning is preferred but not required
Experience supervising associates, including providing instruction, training, and constructive feedback to assist in their professional development
Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
