About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle a wide variety of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property disputes
  • Represent clients in transactional matters including forming and maintaining entities, drafting employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements
  • Mentor and provide professional development guidance to junior associates
  • Manage a diverse caseload independently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience handling business litigation matters from inception to conclusion involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property (copyright and trademark) disputes
  • Proficient in drafting corporate formation documents, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements; experience in estate planning is preferred but not required
  • Experience supervising associates, including providing instruction, training, and constructive feedback to assist in their professional development
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Current admission to the California State Bar is required.
