About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Appium
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test strategies
- Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions for web and mobile testing
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software releases meet quality standards
- Document testing processes, results, and defects
- Continuously improve the test automation framework and testing processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on Cypress and Appium
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Experience with JavaScript and developing test scripts for web applications
- Familiarity with mobile automation testing and frameworks
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and troubleshoot issues
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance
- Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus
