About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and carry out technical surveillance audits across certified sprinkler contractors
- Review system designs and verify compliance through detailed assessments
- Conduct site inspections to ensure installations meet required standards
- Record audit findings accurately and produce high-quality reports
- Review and assess responses to any non-conformances within agreed timeframes
- Support certification decisions by recommending approvals, additional audits, or suspensions where needed
- Represent the business professionally when engaging with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to team activities, including audit support, service improvements, and new customer development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience within the commercial sprinkler industry (design, installation, service, or management)
- In-depth knowledge of LPC Sprinkler Rules and relevant sprinkler standards
- Good technical understanding of sprinkler systems and associated equipment
- Awareness of residential and domestic sprinkler applications
- LPCB or BAFSA sprinkler qualifications (or willingness to work towards them)
- Excellent attention to detail and report-writing ability
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Well-organised, methodical, and able to manage your own workload effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Willingness to travel as required.
