About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute on the originations roadmap across direct mail, digital, and partner/affiliate channels — tracking progress, flagging blockers, and keeping initiatives moving
  • Build business cases to support channel expansion & testing
  • Define and track OKRs/KPIs for originations performance; surface actionable insights on a regular cadence
  • Own funnel and conversion reporting end-to-end — build, maintain, and improve dashboards that drive daily decision-making
  • Identify operational bottlenecks across the origination funnel and design scalable process improvements
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs that help the team move faster and more consistently
  • Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Translate business needs and originations priorities into clear, structured requirements for the engineering team - Write requirements, define acceptance criteria, and document workflows to ensure engineering builds the right things in the right order
  • Own UAT (user acceptance testing) for originations-related releases — validating that what ships matches what was requested, support launch planning and go-to-market execution for initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
  • 2–4 years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth fintech/startup environment
  • Background in financial services, consumer lending, or a closely adjacent industry preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of owning cross-functional projects from analysis through execution
  • Experience translating business problems into functional requirements, user stories, or product specs for an engineering or development team
