About the role
- Prepare and review accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports on a monthly basis to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Oversee the general accounting processes, inter-company transactions, accounting and financial reporting for all entities
- Ensure GST/ VAT/ WHT and corporate tax submissions are done diligently and on timely basis
- Manage statutory audits under the local GAAP and IFRS
- Responsible for internal audit, controls, process improvements, ERP implementation
- Coordinate with outsourced accounting and finance partners across multiple jurisdictions
- Oversee payment processing and financial controls and vendor management
- Assist with investor reporting, group consolidation, management analysis, and ad-hoc financial queries from leadership
- Manage accounting system administration and document finance processes
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with good understanding of accounting standards and taxation
- 4 - 6 years of work experience preferably in Technology companies
- Experience with a Big 4 in their Assurance and Accounting Advisory practice would be advantageous
- Must have working knowledge of international accounting standards like IFRS
