About the role
- Maintain a workload 3-3-2 consistent with tenure-track faculty expectations
- Provide supervision to practicum and internship students using a multicultural, developmentally attuned framework
- Advise and mentor graduate students on clinical readiness, site expectations, and professional identity development
- Engage in scholarly research, publication, and professional presentations consistent with tenure-track faculty expectations
- Participate in service to the program, department, college, and university including accreditation and curriculum development efforts
- Uphold a commitment to equity, access, and culturally responsive pedagogy and supervision
- Collaborate across online and on-campus modalities to support student success and strengthen program-community partnerships
Requirements
- Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from a non-profit institution by start date, CACREP-accredited program preferred
- Licensure or license-eligibility as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) (or equivalent) in Illinois or a reciprocal state
- Familiarity with CACREP standards and accreditation processes
- Commitment to inclusive excellence, cultural humility, and equity-focused teaching and supervision
