About the role

  • Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time status and delivery, within budget, and compliant with quality standards
  • Analyze project scope and validate with site visit as needed; and prepare level of effort for required fee / budget and negotiate final fee with client
  • Coordinate with client on project status and budget; direct the preparation of invoices, prepare associated progress reports, and approve invoices; negotiate supplemental fees for added scope
  • Develop and present communication plans, materials, and graphics for public interest meetings (city council, local, residential)
  • Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and engineering specification safety protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study required
  • 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering design, and management of multiple projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years’ experience in direct management/supervisor experience helpful
  • Experience in hydraulics and hydrology engineering a plus
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
