Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time status and delivery, within budget, and compliant with quality standards
Analyze project scope and validate with site visit as needed; and prepare level of effort for required fee / budget and negotiate final fee with client
Coordinate with client on project status and budget; direct the preparation of invoices, prepare associated progress reports, and approve invoices; negotiate supplemental fees for added scope
Develop and present communication plans, materials, and graphics for public interest meetings (city council, local, residential)
Ensure that projects adhere to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and engineering specification safety protocols

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study required
10+ years’ experience in civil engineering design, and management of multiple projects simultaneously
5+ years’ experience in direct management/supervisor experience helpful
Experience in hydraulics and hydrology engineering a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
