About the role
- Management of project’s contractor and construction process
- Construction coordination and scope management
- Develop and review construction schedules and cost estimates
- Assist with developing and reviewing change orders
- Conduct site inspections and reporting to verify construction quality and contract conformance
- Develop and maintain construction progress reports
- Review contractor RFIs and submittals
- Oversee and coordinate with QA field inspectors and materials testing teams
- Contractor Submittal management and compliance
- Contractor’s adherence to construction documents
- Reoccurring site visits and logistics management
- Liaison between contractor, stakeholders and client
- Contractor Invoice review and approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction management with focus on transportation infrastructure projects
- Preferred Experience: Maintenance Facilities, Airports, Roadway, Tollway, Transit, Highway
- Knowledge of construction techniques, processes, materials and equipment used in transportation projects.
