Construction Project Engineer
Bonneville BuildersProject Engineer supporting construction projects for Bonneville Builders in Sandy, Utah. Responsible for project administration, coordination, and ensuring timely delivery of construction documents.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain up-to-date project records and documentation
- Assist Project Manager in various project phases
- Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of project documents
- Attend meetings and represent the company as needed
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols
- Prepare and submit project reports, change orders, RFIs, and other required documentation
- Support business development efforts by marketing the company to clients
- Monitor and manage the products in ProCore and/or Microsoft Project
- Review construction documents, specifications, and stay up to date on industry standards
- Ability to analyze project data and generate reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a related field or working towards a degree in construction management, engineering or business
- 3-5 years of commercial construction experience
- Knowledge of construction practices, procedures, and techniques
- Ability to read and understand complex documents, work orders, safety rules, and maintenance instructions
- Proficiency in construction scheduling and cost control
- Familiarity with various equipment and tools
- LEED knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and CAD software
