About the role
- Design and implement high-quality audio assets for characters, environments, combat, abilities, UI, and systems.
- Maintain a cohesive audio identity that supports our live multiplayer experience.
- Collaborate closely with game designers, engineers, artists, and narrative teams to ensure audio supports gameplay clarity, player feedback, and emotional impact.
- Implement and iterate on audio content using Wwise and in-engine tools to create dynamic, real-time responses to gameplay.
- Help shape dynamic mix systems and content scalability to support frequent updates and seasonal content.
- Participate in playtests and live content reviews to gather feedback and continuously improve the player experience.
- Contribute to team-wide efforts to build an audio culture focused on craft, innovation, and sustainability.
- You have 4+ years of experience as a sound designer in games, preferably with live service or multiplayer titles.
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to craft emotional, immersive, and high-quality audio experiences.
- You are comfortable implementing your work directly using Wwise and game engines like Unity.
- You understand the unique demands of multiplayer games, including audio legibility, mix clarity, and gameplay readability.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working across disciplines.
