About the role
- oversee character art production end-to-end, from design through QA, ensuring assets are delivered predictably and at a high quality bar.
- partner with artists, engineers, and designers to keep asset creation aligned with design intent and gameplay needs.
- help the team stay effective by removing roadblocks, prompting discussions and decisions, and keeping goals clear.
- drive clear, consistent communication of decisions, status, and goals within the character art group and to the broader team.
- bring production toolbox to adapt approaches that best fit Bonfire’s environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years in game publishing or production, including 3+ years leading at a senior level.
- successfully produced a character asset pipeline from early development through launch and sustainment in live service.
- deep set of production skills and the judgment to know which approach works best for each situation.
- passionate about production craft and eager to help mature processes in a fast-evolving environment.
