Music Programmer
Boiler RoomProgramming role at Boiler Room focusing on high-quality artist line-ups and overseeing events. Collaborating with teams to ensure successful execution of programming in various territories.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conceptualise and deliver high-quality programming and culturally relevant artist line-ups, across various territories and event sizes.
- Collaborating with the Programming team to oversee assigned shows in markets across various territories, leveraging extensive personal networks.
- Programming assigned key event stages to meet the Events department's ticket sales and profit margin targets.
- Ensure that budgets are adhered to and all administrative tasks are completed at the highest quality.
- Handling the booking process for event line-ups from idea conception through to event delivery.
- Advance, contract and oversee payment for all acts in a timely fashion.
- Working closely with Event Production, Marketing, Broadcast and Accounting teams to ensure Boiler Room events and Broadcasts are delivered to the highest possible standards.
- Being the artist-facing contact on the day of the show, attending to any needs, last-minute changes or requests.
- Feeding into location decisions, both cities and venues in chosen markets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable passion and understanding of the Boiler Room brand and vision
- focused and dedicated to achieving your department’s quarterly objectives
- Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration as well as supporting your team across a variety of projects with different timelines and urgency
- Be proactive
- Attend a variety of meetings, including project-specific stand-ups, weekly department planning and company-wide updates, managing your time wisely
- Be adaptable and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in a personal development programme and peer review.
