About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Integrate program, customer, product and program strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
- Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
- Travel less than 10% expected
- Work 100% onsite at one of the listed location options
- Work 1st shift
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management
- More than 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office
- More than 3 years of experience with supplier contracts and negotiations
- Experience in Customer Service
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required for the U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- U.S. Person required for U.S. export control compliance
- Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
- Ability to work 1st shift
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Experience in contracts and proposals preferred
- Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations preferred
- Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers preferred
- Experience using SAP software preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred, but not required
