About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, and antennas
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing-related issues, including root-cause identification support and NCR dispositions
- Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts
- Communicate through listening, verbal, and written communication
- Multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic work setting
- Support the VC-25B program and potentially other MS&B programs such as P8, Tanker, and E7
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree
- 6 or more years of related work experience
- 5+ years of experience in wire installation design or working with electrical equipment
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
- No employer sponsorship for employment visa status
- Preferred: 9 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Preferred: 5+ years with 3D Modeling/CAD software
- Preferred: 5+ years with wire bundle/electrical design
- Preferred: engineering environment experience
- Preferred: familiarity with 737, 747, or 777 aircraft and systems
- Preferred: FAA certification requirements for electrical design experience
- Preferred: WIRS experience
- Preferred: CATIA V5 and ENOVIA experience
