About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in an approximately three-year engineering rotation program involving individual development, mentoring, training, and leadership opportunities
  • Rotate through different engineering organizations at six- to twelve-month intervals
  • Gain hands-on experience with satellite, network communications, and information assurance technologies, program lifecycles, design, and end-to-end systems
  • Support roles involving space electronics, spacecraft systems engineering, thermal and structural design/analysis, antenna design, and integration and test
  • Engage in special technical projects and volunteer for events such as Engineers Week
  • Learn and implement Lean engineering principles and techniques
  • Receive coaching, counseling, and guidance on technical and managerial career paths
  • Network with leadership team members and work across different engineering organizations
  • Acclimate to the work environment and develop toward future leadership positions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or a master’s degree
  • 2 or more years of engineering experience, or a master’s degree
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
  • Interim and/or final U.S. Tier 5 Clearance post-start required
  • Ability to meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
  • U.S. Person status includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
  • 1+ years of experience with space/satellite systems preferred
  • Active U.S. security clearance preferred
  • Demonstrated history of leadership positions
  • History of internships and/or work experiences
  • GPA listed on resume
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
  • Ability to work 100% onsite at the listed location
  • Must be available for first shift
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
