About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly with a mentor to solve real-world problems
- Apply academic knowledge to meaningful Sales & Marketing projects
- Develop and refine aviation industry forecasts
- Analyze complex datasets and communicate actionable insights
- Conduct value assessments and Net Present Value analyses
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for brand awareness and customer experience
- Identify target markets and craft messaging across digital and traditional channels
- Develop go-to-market plans, value propositions, segment targeting, sales tactics, promotions, and pricing models
- Create and manage physical and digital marketing content
- Support events, product demonstrations, and customer engagements
- Use market data, Voice of Customer insights, analytical models, and economic trends for lead generation and product differentiation
- Conduct forecasting, segmentation, win-loss, competitive, and pricing sensitivity analyses
- Develop sales training materials and customer-specific collateral
- Maintain marketing intelligence dashboards
- Create value analysis models and support existing models and ad hoc analyses
- Support campaign strategies and customer assistance for internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in professional development sessions and informational interviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Anticipated graduation date on or after August 2027
- Ability to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during summer 2027
- Passion for the aerospace industry and interest in a career at Boeing
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Previous business or related internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations
- Majoring in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Technical Management, Information Systems, or a related field
- Ability to telecommute
- Ability to relocate and work onsite
- Some positions require active U.S. Security Clearance, with U.S. Citizenship required
- Some positions require compliance as a “US Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
- Employer will not sponsor employment visa status
- Some positions require ability to obtain access to a NASA facility
- Drug testing may apply after an offer
- Ability to work first shift
