About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
  • Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
  • Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance at the Senior Level
  • Lead negotiation strategies and enforce contract terms and conditions at the Senior Level
  • Consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
  • Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
  • Participate on supply chain process improvement teams and identify opportunities for supplier contract strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • More than 5 years of experience working directly with supplier management
  • More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
  • More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, but not required
  • Experienced Level 3 typically requires 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
  • Senior Level 4 typically requires 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
  • Must be a “U.S. Person” under applicable export control regulations
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
  • Must work onsite at one listed location
  • Must work 1st shift
  • Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
  • Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
