About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management
Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance at the Senior Level
Lead negotiation strategies and enforce contract terms and conditions at the Senior Level
Consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues
Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities
Participate on supply chain process improvement teams and identify opportunities for supplier contract strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

More than 5 years of experience working directly with supplier management
More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
More than 5 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, but not required
Experienced Level 3 typically requires 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
Senior Level 4 typically requires 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
Must be a “U.S. Person” under applicable export control regulations
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Must work onsite at one listed location
Must work 1st shift
Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time
