About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide engineering support for short- and long-term infrastructure planning
Support capital improvement construction projects and maintenance operations
Advise and work with internal and external customers on facilities construction and maintenance activities
Analyze, design, and complete facilities construction projects
Apply engineering principles and methodology to translate customer requirements into feasible options
Plan, manage, and execute projects involving external vendors
Execute projects in accordance with construction documents, regulations, standards, codes, and ordinances
Collaborate with teams across Boeing Global Real Estate and Facilities and Boeing business units

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during Summer 2027
Currently majoring in a core engineering or applied sciences discipline, including Architecture, Civil/Structural, Chemical, Data Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Sustainability, Manufacturing, Controls, or Software
Mathematics, Physics, or Cybersecurity majors may also be considered
Enrolled at a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027
Applicable educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required
Strong academic performance; preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
Strong organizational and collaboration skills
Technical experience through projects, research, or engineering internships
Prior Construction/Facilities experience preferred
Familiarity with Equipment, HVAC, Building Systems, Infrastructure, AutoCAD, and/or computing skills preferred
Exceptional communication skills
Junior or Senior class standing preferred
Must meet Export Control requirements as a “US Person” under 22 C.F.R. § 120.15
Some positions may require ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government requirements may require U.S. Citizenship
Employer will not sponsor employment visas
Some positions may require access to a NASA facility
Some positions are safety-sensitive and subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Must work first shift
