About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements
- Ensure safety and quality are embedded in plans and practices
- Assist with maintaining Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics
- Collect and analyze data to identify root causes of routine problems
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation
- Research and analyze performance reports to enhance process capability
- Prepare for hardware, software, and system-level audits
- Compile data for material review disposition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work with a mentor on real-world safety and quality problems
- Tour Boeing manufacturing and research facilities
- Interact with company leaders
- Attend networking events, development seminars, and executive engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a college or university with expected graduation on or after August 2027
- Available to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during Summer 2027
- Meet Export Control compliance as a “U.S. Person” (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Employer will not sponsor employment visas
- Preferred: major in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Operations, Project Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Management, Programming, Systems Engineering and Management, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or related fields
- Preferred: GPA of 3.0 or above
- Preferred: previous internships, work experience, or student/civic organization involvement demonstrating leadership and teamwork
- Passion for the aerospace industry
- Willingness to relocate and work onsite at designated locations
- Preferred: junior or senior class standing
- Program management knowledge: project planning, leadership, supply chain/quality management, root cause analysis, corrective action, problem solving, systematic problem solving, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, presentation development, verbal communication, written communication, cross-functional collaboration, principles of management
