About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly with a mentor to solve real-world problems
- Tour Boeing manufacturing and research facilities
- Interact with company leaders about strategy and Boeing’s future
- Build a professional network through social events and activities
- Apply academic knowledge to meaningful Sales & Marketing projects
- Develop industry forecasts for passenger, cargo, business, and general aviation traffic
- Analyze complex datasets and communicate actionable insights
- Conduct value assessments and Net Present Value analyses
- Analyze market opportunities, customer needs, competitive landscapes, forecasting, segmentation, win-loss, and pricing sensitivity
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, campaign strategies, and marketing strategies
- Create physical and digital marketing content, messaging, sales training materials, and customer collateral
- Coordinate event logistics and support product demonstrations
- Generate leads using market data, Voice of Customer insights, analytical models, and economic trends
- Create value analysis models and support sales with existing models and ad hoc analyses
- Support internal and external stakeholders, sales teams, and customer engagements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
- Anticipated graduation date on or after August 2027
- Ability to work full-time for 10–12 weeks during summer 2027
- Passion for the aerospace industry and interest in a career at Boeing
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- Previous business or related internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations preferred
- Majoring in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Project Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Technical Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Ability to telecommute preferred
- Ability to relocate and work onsite preferred
- Some positions require active U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
- Some positions require compliance with Export Control requirements and US Person status
- Employer will not sponsor employment visas
- Some positions require ability to obtain access to a NASA facility
- Drug testing may apply after an offer when policy criteria are met
- First-shift availability
