About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and collaborate with Communications, Boeing Global Engagement, business unit, and functional team members, including leadership teams
- Write, edit, and develop messages, stories, and speeches
- Develop website and social media content
- Create videos
- Provide event management support for community sponsorships
- Assist with development and execution of strategic communications plans and branding strategies
- Support enterprise-wide and business-unit branding initiatives
- Apply advanced communications techniques
- Represent Boeing energetically at community-facing events
- Work some weekend days throughout the summer in support of sponsorship activations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program with anticipated graduation on or after August 2027
- Available for full-time work for 10–12 weeks during summer 2027
- Strong writing, editing, social, and digital communications skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above)
- Ability to work onsite
- MBA candidates or candidates pursuing master’s degrees in related disciplines preferred
- Previous internships or work experience and/or involvement with student or civic organizations preferred
- Passion for the aerospace industry and enthusiasm for a career with Boeing
- Some positions may require ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Government citizenship requirements may apply
- Some positions require US Person status for Export Control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Must comply with Boeing’s drug-free workplace testing policy when applicable
