About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the design, development, test, debugging and maintenance of software that is integrated into embedded devices
- Assists with review, analysis, and translation of customer requirements into the design of software products
- Supports building and writing code for embedded systems software
- Contributes to integration of embedded software with hardware components
- Supports analysis, monitoring and improving the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems
- Participates in testing and debugging software for embedded devices
- Supports implementation of current and emerging technologies and tools relevant to software development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Active US Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development
- Experience in Matlab/Simulink
- Experience developing software for motion planning, estimation, and/or control
- Experience developing software for real-time, near real-time, or embedded systems
- Experience automating software builds, unit tests, integration tests, deployment, and installations using a DevOps tool chain
- Experience leading software development projects using Agile development methodologies
