About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead recruiting activities including maintaining job requisitions, participating in hiring events, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations while building a strong verification organization
Drive successful execution across assigned programs by proactively identifying technical, schedule, and staffing risks, removing obstacles, coordinating resources, and promoting accountability
Promote engineering excellence through sound verification practices, technical reviews, mentoring, and collaboration with technical experts and engineering leaders
Coach engineers in their technical and professional growth, conduct performance and career discussions, recognize outstanding contributors and emerging leaders, and support employees requiring additional development
Partner effectively with ASIC design, FPGA design, systems engineering, software engineering, program management, chief engineers, and functional leadership to successfully deliver complex products
Champion improvements to engineering processes, onboarding, documentation, communication, metrics, and organizational effectiveness
Ensure engineers have the tools, resources, access, approvals, and environment needed to perform at their highest level

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
5+ years of relevant ASIC and/or FPGA engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
Strong background in ASIC and/or FPGA digital design, verification, or both, with an understanding of the product development lifecycle
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
