About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle EBS R12 modules
Support warehousing operations by optimizing inventory movements, sub-inventory setups, cycle counting, material management and material transactions within EBS
Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse managers to document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technical teams
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), create test scripts, and support system upgrades, patches, or new module implementations
Provide Tier 2/3 functional support to resolve complex issues related to procurement, warehouse management, Material Resource Planning, Work in Progress, Bill of Materials
Develop documentation and support end-users to ensure high adoption and correct system usage

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven functional experience with Oracle EBS R12
Knowledge of the integration points between PO, Supplier modules, and Inventory is essential
Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Agreements, and Approval Hierarchies domain knowledge
Supplier registration, Site creation and process of supplier creation through to Purchase Order issuing domain knowledge
Inventory management, shipping/receiving, material planning, cycle counting and warehouse movements domain knowledge
Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical business users
Strong ability to perform root-cause analysis on data discrepancies
Experience with Oracle WMS (Warehouse Management System) and Procurement modules
Familiarization with SQL/PLSQL for data querying and troubleshooting
Experience in a Manufacturing and Maintenance environment
Previous experience participating in an Oracle implementation, upgrade or significant enhancement project
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
