About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide Tier 1 - 3 functional and technical support for Oracle EBS Finance modules
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including data discrepancies, interface failures, and user access problems.
- Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for new features or system changes.
- Translate complex business needs into technical specifications for developers or configuration changes.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce human error.
- Assist in the configuration and testing of new Oracle EBS modules or patches.
- Lead or participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing comprehensive test scripts and managing the defect remediation process.
- Support the integration of Oracle EBS with third-party financial tools, banking interfaces, or internal proprietary systems.
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including system configuration guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical design documents.
- Create user manuals and deliver training sessions to end-users to ensure high adoption of system features and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of proven experience in a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst role, specifically supporting Oracle E-Business Suite
- Deep understanding of core financial processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance module configuration.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for data querying and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration between Oracle and external systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
