About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronic and associated electrical systems of precision machine tools
  • Troubleshoot communication protocols to facilitate the transmission and receipt of information between various machine tool and production systems
  • Utilize open computing architecture to diagnose issues in integrated machine tool and production systems
  • Write and edit programs to support maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with other crafts to assist in troubleshooting outside the central control system as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of electronic/electrical experience in machine tool maintenance or industrial electronic and/or electrical maintenance field
  • 1+ years' experience troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC) OR functionally equivalent control systems
  • Ability to work at heights up to 125 feet above ground level and pass Fall Protection Training
