About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a pan platform team to execute RCM analysis, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and schedule.
  • Enhance BDUK's RCM capabilities, through continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Evaluate and process change requests based on maintenance feedback, failure investigations, and reliability studies, incorporating lessons learned to improve processes.
  • Ensure all changes comply with industry standards and best practices.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, provide expert advice on RCM methodologies.
  • Deliver clear reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project outcomes.
  • Ensure defined RCM tasks are accurately reflected and updated within the relevant tools and systems.
  • Maintain and improve the organisation's reliability approach through systematic methods.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eligibility for UK SC Security Clearance: Applicants must be able to obtain the necessary clearance.
  • Subject Matter Expertise in RCM: Extensive knowledge including hands-on experience in RCM including MSG-3, RCM-2 and FMEA methodologies.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop junior engineers as an RCM SME.
  • Maintenance and Engineering Expertise: Strong background in maintenance and engineering, with practical application skills.
  • Risk & Reliability Management: In depth knowledge of risk and reliability management systems and techniques.
  • Understanding of Risk & Opportunity Management: Familiarity with the principles and practical application of risk and opportunity management in engineering contexts.
