About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action of electronic systems.
  • Development of hardware qualification and validation/verification activities.
  • Define and execute detailed test procedures for electronic systems using simulation tools and system components.
  • Execute lab and ground/flight testing during the development of new/revised hardware/software.
  • Participate in flight controls equipment supplier qualification test requirements definitions and qualification test results review.
  • Collaborative partnership with suppliers in idea generation for product reliability and production improvements.
  • Support production efforts including timely resolution of prototype and first build problems at Boeing and supplier manufacturing facilities; ensuring readiness for production start-up milestones, such as, power-on, system gauntlet, system functional test, ground test and first flight.
  • Support global fleet operations including: review flight data, troubleshoot fleet problems and respond to customer inquiries on maintenance activities or safety investigations and, also, respond to regulator queries; participate in resolution efforts to resolve Service Related Problems (SRP); and analyze reported flight incidents to provide recommendations to the Safety Review Board (SRB) for Continued Operational Safety Program (COSP) determinations.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a degree in Engineering.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
