About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Layout, construct, install, modify, and rebuild plant facilities plumbing systems
Diagnose, test, repair, adjust, and maintain plumbing and mechanical systems
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and routine plumbing tasks
Interpret and work in conformance with codes, ordinances, blueprints, sketches, specifications, and verbal instructions
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, other crafts, customers, vendors, and management to ensure smooth job execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school graduate or GED required
Experience doing jobs or tasks where you had to apply math skills such as algebra, geometry and/or trigonometry
Experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings
Experience working with precision measuring tools
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Must not have previously enrolled in or completed an IAM/Boeing Joint Apprenticeship program
