About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work directly under the guidance of the Lead Structure Technician
  • Assemble, disassemble and/or modify systems and components IAW applicable Technical Orders and regulations
  • Ensure timely repairs of maintenance activities
  • Meet individual training requirements
  • Comply and operate within a Safety Culture
  • Work with Quality/Safety Teams to address occurrences and audit findings
  • Perform within the MAST and Squadron Maintenance as part of a cohesive team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience as an Aircraft Structures Technician/Aircraft Mechanic
  • Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force operations and aircraft maintenance practices
  • Must have Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licensed S rating or Military equivalent
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment
  • Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Royal Canadian Air Force Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS)
