About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Enterprise Transportation and Logistics across all business units critical to the supply chain health
- Enable production and meet various program needs
- Provide optimal solutions utilizing contracted carriers for all modes of transportation balancing schedule and cost
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
- 4+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
- 4+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- 4+ years of experience managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership preferred.
- 3+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes preferred (FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel)
- 1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiative
