About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and lead a unique technical team for Boeing Phantom Works supporting various Special Programs and Capabilities
Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures
Provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Manage and advocate for acquiring resources for supporting department activities
Technical management of suppliers and leading process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manage, develop and motivate employees and first-level managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelors of Science degree in engineering, physics, mathematics or chemistry
9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work-related experience with a Masters or PhD
5 years of experience with supporting US government developmental programs
Experience with RF/Radar and/or Electro-Optic and/or Electronic/Electrical design and engineering programs
Ability to coordinate with a highly experienced technical team and customers to clearly communicate safety plans, test plans and data collection
Ability to create schedules, communicate clearly and execute developmental programs
Experience working with US government project engineers and managers
