About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and architect end-to-end cybersecurity solutions for classified systems and networks
Develop security architectures that comply with government and defense standards, policies, and regulations
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams
Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies and recommend their adoption
Provide technical leadership and guidance on cybersecurity best practices
Support the development of security requirements and architecture diagrams
Participate in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability analyses
Develop executive-level reporting materials, including KPI/KRI metrics
Maintain strict adherence to classified information handling and security protocols
Mentor and train team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years or enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program
Currently hold IAM Level 3 DoD 8140.01 compliant certification (e.g., CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM, GSLC)
10+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, DoD RMF, DISA STIGs)
Experience working with a technical team
Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders
Experience working in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
