About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the negotiation positions for the procurement of goods and services
- Conduct cost/price analysis of supplier proposals
- Lead a team of cost/price analysis professionals
- Develop and motivate employees
- Develop and maintain relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes for complex cost/price analyses
- Provide oversight and direct support of supplier and customer negotiations
- Lead process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory agency requirements
- Provide support for travel if needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5+ years' experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role or completed Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Experience with government policies, procedures and regulations relating to contracting
- Experience with audits
- Experience leading negotiations
- Experience working in large, complex, dynamic programs
- Experience with exposure to supplier related data
