About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary support partner to the Director, Enterprise Safety Promotion and Positive Safety Culture
  • Anticipate leadership needs and ensure the right information is available at the right time to support effective decision-making
  • Manage priorities, follow-up actions, key communications, and leadership requests with a high degree of discretion and accuracy
  • Support strategic planning, issue resolution, and leadership preparation through clear, concise, and decision-ready materials
  • Apply program management best practices to coordinate execution of team priorities, initiatives, and deliverables
  • Establish and manage the team operating rhythm, including meeting cadence, action tracking, look-ahead planning, and status reporting
  • Track commitments, milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely completion of work
  • Promote structure, clarity, and follow-through across the team’s activities and deliverables
  • Lead budget development, tracking, forecasting, and reporting activities for the organization
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to support leadership decisions and measure progress against objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and operational effectiveness

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership, including creating executive level briefings
  • Knowledge and application of program management best practices in a program environment
  • Experience executing budget management principles and practices
  • Experience deploying functional, business, or enterprise initiatives across multiple teams
