About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a working lead planning and assessing program requirements while integrating activities of other employees to accomplish program objectives
Manage the scope of work for program activities and interaction with connected sites and other programs
Project management for multiple activities and prioritization as necessary
Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment
Network Design, equipment procurement, equipment configuration and installation, cable and wire design and implementation, network break-fix, security plan integration, equipment decommission and surplus, capital/expense planning
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers
Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving
Act as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team
Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
Develop and execute project and process plans to implement policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years
3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & IOS implementations
3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
Ability to travel 10% of the time
5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
Top Secret security clearance with CI Polygraph (preferred)
Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems, network monitoring systems, and AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+ (preferred)
Experience with Encryptors (preferred)
Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (preferred)
Experience with team leadership (preferred)
