About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as a working lead planning and assessing program requirements while integrating activities of other employees to accomplish program objectives
  • Manage the scope of work for program activities and interaction with connected sites and other programs
  • Project management for multiple activities and prioritization as necessary
  • Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment
  • Network Design, equipment procurement, equipment configuration and installation, cable and wire design and implementation, network break-fix, security plan integration, equipment decommission and surplus, capital/expense planning
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peers
  • Exercise critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by the team
  • Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties
  • Develop and execute project and process plans to implement policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years
  • 3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & IOS implementations
  • 3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Top Secret security clearance with CI Polygraph (preferred)
  • Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems, network monitoring systems, and AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+ (preferred)
  • Experience with Encryptors (preferred)
  • Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM (preferred)
  • Experience with team leadership (preferred)
